Served as Executive Producer, Showrunner, and Second Unit Director for the first season of this HBO original series, an adaptation of Laura Esquivel's beloved romantic novel. The series explores themes of love, family, and tradition set against historical Mexican backdrop, blending magical realism with poignant storytelling. During this season, I was responsible for overseeing the overall creative direction, managing production workflows, and directing second unit scenes.
